While Nvidia's CloudXR SDK is a key technology behind this, the streaming clients connect to local gaming PCs, not the cloud, for rendering. This approach offers a simplified launch process and seamless integration with physical accessories, such as racing wheels, through camera passthrough. The dedicated streaming clients for X-Plane and iRacing provide a user-friendly experience, allowing users to connect directly to the simulator software on their PCs with minimal effort. Additionally, the X-Plane client offers a customizable passthrough cutout, similar to KRVR, a free and open-source tool that supports OpenXR and SteamVR games. However, it's important to note that these streaming solutions are limited to Nvidia's Ada and Blackwell GPU architectures, specifically RTX 40-series and 50-series graphics cards.
